Saturdays, the Market is a great place to buy plants and tools for your home and garden, vegetables for your table and cookies for the cookie jar. Last week, we welcomed
newcomer Sasha with her lovely jewelry and winning smile. This diversity highlights the role of a Public Market, in addition to welcoming
vendors with locally-made, farm grown, or home-baked products, we also welcome small businesses, local entrepreneurs, home-based businesses, and area artisans and crafters who
display and sell their products. In other words, the Lumby Public Market is a Community Market – open to pretty well all local vendors, and to vendors from all over the BC
interior. People like Ron and Eric, who every week bring you good used items, books and collectibles, and Sylvester who specializes in collector coins and a few treasures found in his travels.

The Lumby Public Market is a meeting place for the community. Each Saturday, folks come to see what’s on offer from the vendors, meet friends, and have lunch or a snack while relaxing in the park.
Kids can play safely within eyesight at the playground and spray park.
